Team Building and Drafting
Assembling your team of Chibi Dinos represents an opportunity for expressive gameplay and player control. Starting in season one players will build teams of up to 5 Chibi Dinos, a starting 3 and 2 bench Dinos that can switch in for Chibi Dinos that are low on stamina.
Players will be able to name their individual team and their team may be composed of any combination of Chibi Dinos. Teams made of Dinos wearing the same jersey from the ten core teams will experience slightly faster growth of their team level.
Starting after Season One, all Dinos' play history and statistics will be used to cumulatively track the performance of the ten core teams. The highest ranking core team at the end of each season will be eligible for rewards, and potential access to unique tournaments.
Players in need of filling out their roster will be able to ''Draft'' eligible Dinos from other players that have made their Dinos available. Drafting a Chibi Dino to your team carries no upfront cost, but will incur a split on earnings shared pro-rata with the owner of the Drafted Chibi Dino. This system will encourage growth among players, and the fostering a strong community.
Maintaining a consistent lineup is necessary to fully progress your team level, as such players are incentivized to continually draft the same Dinos for play sessions, presenting healthy opportunities to earn for both the player drafting and the owner of the drafted Dino.
At the launch of Adventure Mode, team building will take on new meaning as players will be able to assemble their team of Dinos based around player directed skill trees, and IQ derived from training and gear.
